Instruments
I play on a violin and with a bow made by the renowned French violin- and bowmaker Christophe Landon.

Christophe resides in New York City and travels extensively all over the world. Among his clients are members of the New York Philharmonic and the Berliner Philharmoniker.

He has visited Iceland a number of times, repairing string instruments and bows for local musicians. His workshop in Iceland is at the Sigurjón Ólafsson Museum.

In Iceland there are five violins and two cellos made by Christophe.

I´m also a proud owner of a couple of bows by Isaac Salchow.

Isaac comes from a very prominent family of bowmakers in New York City. He has often visited us and is always very busy, rehairing and repairing bows. His workshop in Iceland is also at the Sigurjón Ólafsson Museum.

In the summer of 2008, Isaac married the Canadian cellist Julia MacLaine. Julia and I have appeared as a duo in America and Iceland and in the fall of 2007 we premiered Gríma (the Mask) at the summer concert series Sigurjón Ólafsson museum(program)
